Ayurvedic Dry Herbal Powder & Back Massage - Udvartana & Pristha Abhyanga

An Ayurvedic dry herbal powder and back massage promotes health and vitality for a strong spine. Back muscles are relaxed, blood & lymph circulation improved and stimulated; and health & strength restored promoting rejuvenation and revitalisation. Harmful toxins are flushed out of the body with the help of the herbal powders, paste, oils and massage techniques. Excess dosha is reduced in the process and the body is nurtured with a perfect balance. This is a healing and detoxifying therapy.

Udvartana is an invigorating and cleansing powder massage. Dry herbal powders or herbal paste prepared with medicated oils are used in this herbal powder massage to scrub, exfoliate, rejuvenate the skin, and to prevent skin diseases. Udvartana stimulates the skin, leaving you with radiant, toned and cleansed skin. The skin is cleansed and specific dosha skin body oils with aroma-therapeutic essential oils are personalized to restore balance.

Posture is improved, stress-related tension and blockages targeted and the benefits have regenerating effect on the spine addressing issues in the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral regions. Massage techniques including marma points to these areas are included.
