Ayurvedic Facial

Two important treatments for any spa to offer: a Basic Herbal Facial and an Intensive Treatment Facial, including an eye enhancement treatment.

An Ayurvedic Herbal Facial can be offered by any therapist, and combines grains, herbs and aroma-therapeutic essential oils personalized to balance your client's unique skin type.

The Ayurvedic Intensive Facial also integrates the added benefit of extractions and natural products for use by skin professionals only.

The tradition of cleansing, oil massage, and steam therapy are the foundation of these treatments. Students will learn the various herbs and essential oils for use on specific doshas, and the benefits of natural plant based ingredients to enhance the therapeutic quality of the facial. Ayurvedic facial massage (Mukhabhyanga) techniques including marma points of the face, head, and neck are included in this training, and special skin conditions are also discussed at length.
